Cash prizes and a first commission could be available to students at the Bartlett, John Moores University in Liverpool and the University of Wales in Cardiff under a new competition scheme to seek out the best designs for streetscapes, parks and a trade show stand. Liverpool students have been asked to design an urban aviary, Cardiff students will redesign the Cathays Park area and Bartlett students have been asked to design a trade stand for national exhibition use.
