Recent bad weather has delayed the installation of Wilkinson Eyre Architects and Gifford and Partners' Millennium Bridge between Gateshead and Newcastle, until this Sunday (19 November) at the earliest. The installation of the £20 million lifting bridge requires two days with winds of less than 25mph.The tides of the River Tyne are also only going to be suitable between 18 and 21 November.
