Stonebridge homes get the ikea treatment

Shepheard Epstein Hunter has spent £2000 furnishing a show home to mark the completion of the first houses to its £130 million masterplan for the once infamous Stonebridge estate.

The 120 finished homes in Harlesden in north-west London, have stainless- steel roofs, passive ventilation and patio doors. The red-and-blue brick outer walls are free from load-bearing internal divisions, making them easily adaptable to changes in family needs. afh Shaw Sprunt has also worked on the first homes.

seh spent £2000 in ikea to furnish one of the homes and make it into a show house, the amount residents receive when they transfer from their existing homes on the estate.
