NEWS in brief

Heritage minister Tony Banks may list a 1958 school building and sculptures designed by Leonard Manasseh. He is currently inviting public views on Marylebone Lower House, part of North Westminster Community School. It hasbeen recommended for Grade II* listing by English Heritage. Manasseh's three sculptures in a nearby paved garden have also been recommended for Grade II listing. The deadline for comments is 12 March 1998.
