SPARKS SUPPORTS SOLIHULL

CABE commissioner Les Sparks has come out in favour of the Solihull bid for the national football stadium. In a letter to the AJ, he writes that 'common sense' dictates that the stadium should be built in the Midlands. A spokesman for CABE, which refuses to back any of the designs, told the AJ that it 'did not have the information' to make a judgement, but expected to become involved with the ultimate winner.
