TRANSPORT AND INDUSTRIAL BUILDINGS TRA

Room-in-the-roof trusses designed and manufactured by TRA member Truss Form (Midlands) have maximised space in a new station for the Chasewater Railway in Brownhills, Walsall. The former Midlands line dates back to the 1870s and the station has been built in the original style. To give the necessary height in the attic area, the RiR trusses were slightly stubbed at the eaves and dropped into the shell of the building, creating 270m lENQUIRY NO. 1212 2of habitable space.
