The difficulties of disabled access to London's South Bank Centre were highlighted this week in a new report by David Bonnett Architects. It criticises the current design for having arrival points at different levels to the arts venues, and major roads and roundabouts between arrival and venue. The practice has been appointed to consult on the architectural competitions which will be held this autumn for the different aspects of the site's overhaul.
