Solus Ceramics: Technical Tiles Inspired By Nature

  • Comment

Solus Ceramics introduces the exciting Fissure range, an innovative series of porcelain tiles that has been developed with revolutionary technology to mimic the natural beauty and texture of stone. The result is a new stone-effect product with technical properties and the aesthetic variations seen in natural stone.

Fissure is available in four versatile sizes including 600x600mm, 300x600mm, a super large format 600x1200mm and a plank shaped 200x1200mm variation.

The range centres around four main colours including black, grey, white and beige. Each colour is also available in a lined crosscut option or a more abstract vein cut alternative, which reflects the ways natural stone can be cut to create different textures.

Finally this contemporary range can be specified in a number of different finishes.

The Natural R10 (B) finish possesses a surface that is velvet smooth to the touch but with all the resistance and anti slip properties needed for any residential and commercial project.

The Honed finish enhances the depth and shine of the tile and is especially suitable for floor and wall coverings in residential areas where traffic is normal.

Lastly the Structured R12 (B+C) option provides an elegant bush hammered surface that guarantees excellent technical properties. It is particularly suitable for use outdoors on a surface where exceptional grip is required.

This fantastic range has most recently been supplied to the new Western Transit Shed at Kings Cross in London to fantastic effect in a reception atrium.
