Slimline glazing can stand up to fire

  • Comment
PRODUCT FOCUS: CLADDING: VETROTECH SAINT-GOBAIN

Swissflam Structure is the new fire-resistant glazing system from Vetrotech Saint-Gobain.

Offering maximum transparency, the slimline sheets of glass need only be connected by a thin, discreet border such as a small H-profile gasket or silicone seal joint. In the event of fire, the interlayers turn opaque and expand to form a fully insulating heat shield, providing at least 30 minutes of fire resistance. Swissflam Structure comes in thicknesses of 22mm or 31mm and can be installed into timber, steel or aluminium framing.
