Sliding doors give a new angle on lifts

PRODUCT IN PRACTICE BUILDINGS FOR SPORT AND LEISURE DORMA

Transporting visitors up four floors to explore the story of cities, the distinctive funicular-style glass inclined lift at Manchester's Urbis Museum needed a non-conventional approach for its doors. Dorma's biparting ES 90 sliding door provided the solution, used at the entrance and on the four landings for the 'sky glide', able to tailor door movement to the application. The ES 90 uses a universal suspension system, suitable for all types of doors - including glass and framed glass.
