The whole world of architecture, construction and property thronged to Somerset House last week for the annual Davis Langdon & Everest party - and not even the (at times torrential) rain could put people off.
The champagne flowed all evening, and catering staff coped valiantly (inside and out) with the weather.
Nice to see old boys Clyde Malby and Nick Davis in attendance.
Luminaries including Paul Warner of Geoffrey Reid Associates (also spotted in the Reform, hobnobbing with client Victor Huang of Battersea Power Station fame), Deborah Saunt, Robert Maxwell, and about a thousand others.
DL&E's Paul Morrell presided over the party with enormous aplomb and prompted the band to play Singing in the Rain . It was wet, but it was memorable.
