It will work on plans to regenerate the existing housing and a range of other community facilities. It has also been asked to consider new business opportunities to help the redevelopment and channel all its ideas into a new unitary development plan for the whole of the London Borough of Hackney. The practice beat off competition from other architects, including hta Architects, MacCormac Jamieson Prichard and Peter Barber Architects.
