  • Comment

Sheppard Robson has won the annual Andy Ludlow Design Award for architectural excellence in social housing for this £2.2 million sheltered housing scheme in North London. Cherry Tree House, for Metropolitan Housing Trust, consists of 27 flats plus support facilities, hall, manager's flat and office and garden. Judges described the scheme as 'a bold and radical departure from the outdated concept of institutional living for the elderly'.
