[First look] Sheppard Robson has unveiled its plans to overhaul the 14-storey City House office building above Leeds train station for developer Bruntwood
The refurbishment will include adding a new entrance foyer and mezzanine reception and a total re-clad of the 11,100m² city centre block.
Bruntwood’s head of sales and development, Craig Burrow said: ‘City House will benefit from meticulous design, precision craftsmanship and the highest quality materials to ensure it impresses on every level.
‘We are currently finalising our design and expect to submit a planning application very soon.’
He added: ‘The specification will be Grade A as we target a BREEAM Excellent rating but it will be priced to appeal to a wide range of occupiers. Our aim is to develop vibrant and well-functioning places.’
Before Bruntwood snapped up the property in July 2010, Leeds-based careyjones chapmantolcher had worked on refurb proposals for previous owner Kenmore.
