Shepheard medal

Sir Peter Shepheard has been awarded the Landscape Institute Medal, the highest accolade of the Institute, which was last presented seven years ago to Danish landscape architect Preben Jakobsen. Other recipients have included Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe and Dame Sylvia Crowe. A founding partner of Shepheard Epstein Hunter, Shepheard started his career in the public sector, working on major projects including the New Towns, the Festival of Britain and masterplans for the new universities. He is a past president of the Architectural Association, the Institute of Landscape Architects and the riba.
