Have you been watching BBC 2's wearily predictable series Art That Shook the World which cites Claude Monet's Sunrise, James Joyce's Ulysses, Mozart's Marriage of Figaro, Einstein's Battleship Potemkin and The Psalms by, er, God. Of course, the art of architecture is excluded as usual, even though it impacts on more people more significantly than all the others put together. So which building 'shook the world'? I know which mine would be. Any takers?
