The BBC has announced a sevenstrong shortlist for its new £30 million Scottish headquarters, including Netherlands-based Mecanoo Architecten and Berlin-based Sauerbruch Hutton. The others chasing the Glasgow scheme are local firm Page & Park Architects; Edinburgh's Allan Murray Architects; and David Chipperfield Architects, Richard Rogers Partnership and Wilkinson Eyre Architects from London. The list was drawn from 73 entries. A panel including BBC director general Greg Dyke, drama boss Alan Yentob and head of the board of governors Sir Richard Eyre will pick the winner.
