Seeking information on post-war houses

Letters

The Twentieth Century Society is planning the fourth issue of its journal Twentieth Century Architecture, for publication later this year, on the theme of the post-war house. It is intended to include a gazetteer of one-off architect-designed houses built in England, Scotland Wales, Ireland and the Channel Islands from 1939 onwards, continuing the gazetteer by Jeremy Gould which was included in our 1996 journal, The Modern House Revisited.

Information is requested on such houses. Please send address of house, architect, construction date, brief details of materials and client name, with visual reference if possible, to Alan Powers, The Twentieth Century Society, 77 Cowcross Street, London EC1M 6EJ.
