Sandtoft's handmade Goxhill tiles in a brindle mix gave the £1.7 million visitor centre for historic Blakesley Hall in Birmingham the same look and character as the Grade II-listed Tudor merchant's house. More than 40,000 tiles were specially commissioned for the centre by Niall Phillips Architects, and were also used as a coping detail on a perimeter wall.
