Young Anglo-Dutch practice S333 has been shortlisted for a major regeneration project in Sydney, Australia, alongside more established practices Alsop Architects, Maki & Associates, Wiel Arets Architect and Associates and Ken Yeang.The South Sydney Development Corporation is calling the project for Green Square town centre the largest redevelopment project in the southern hemisphere. Entrants were asked to submit an image of their vision for a 21st century civic centre, along with a 12-word description. Some 21 teams made up of 69 practices from eight countries took part. S333, whose vision is above, was formed in the early 1990s and is featured in New Architects 2 - the latest handbook of young practices just published by the Architecture Foundation.
