Rural Northamptonshire

review

Rural Northamptonshire is an unexpected place to find a group exhibition wholly devoted to geometric abstraction. Called 'Colour and Order', it has been organised by a local gallery, Fermyn Woods Contemporary Art, in conjunction with a German counterpart.

Susan Bonvin, Mikael Fagerlund, Thomas Rupel and Wolfram Ulrich prove that this

80-year-old tradition in making art still has life and validity. The works are hung sparely and judiciously in the ground floor rooms of The Old Water Tower, Fermyn Woods, Brigstock, near Kettering, until 9 April (Sundays 11.00-18.00 or by appointment, tel 01536 373469).
