More breathless prose in the Telegraph , where a profile of Daniel Libeskind by Maria Alvarez takes place in Philippe Starck's 'decadently groovy' St Martins Hotel: 'This is one of the world's top 10 architects, so one expects something like Ian McKellen playing Genghis Khan togged up in Commes des Garcons.' Just why this should be is not explained.

However, there is one nice touch, from Nina Libeskind: 'When we met, Daniel told me three things.

That he would never work for another architect, that he would never do a house renovation, and that he would never sell his ideas for money.' He hasn't had to. . .
