RSC REDEVELOPMENT

Eric Van Egeraat's £100 million redevelopment scheme for the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon will begin with a feasibility study this month. The three theatres and additional RSC-owned buildings on the 0.8ha site will all be considered as part of the redeveloped complex. Several approaches are expected to be examined and could include demolition of some of the existing theatres.
