The Richard Rogers Partnership is to open its books to an independent member of the Greater London Assembly in an effort to check that Lord Rogers - an architectural adviser to mayor Ken Livingstone - does not face any conflicts of interest (AJ 6.9.01).

The standards committee agreed that Professor Malcolm Grant could have access at any time to a list of sites and documents in which RRP is involved. The deal was worked out with lawyers from RRP. The agreement is to run for an unspecified 'trial period'.
