The Architecture Foundation's Roadshow Tour, pitching design teams with local residents, is gearing up for a February start in London's Hammersmith and Fulham. Designers are being invited to take up the challenge.
The roadshow's will explore, via workshops, how locals can be involved with design and planning of public spaces. Ten public spaces, badly in need of improvements, have been chosen by the local council and foundation.
Teams will be given six weeks to prepare schemes for a local exhibition and symposium in May. The foundation would not reveal which sites had been chosen or the designs envisaged, and no designers have been chosen. Teams interested in applying should send practice details, cv and examples of their work by 26 January.
