Ian Ritchie has decided to stand down as a CABE commissioner after his three-year term ends on 31 July. He also served three years on the Royal Fine Art Commission, which was superseded by CABE. Sophie Andreae has been reappointed a commissioner for a further three-year term. '[Andreae's] contribution has been much appreciated, ' said culture secretary Chris Smith. 'Her reappointment will allow her to play a continuing role in CABE's further development. Ian Ritchie has also contributed greatly to CABE and his expertise has been vital to its success.' Smith is set to make further appointments later this year.
