Rising dampers

With the Foster/Arup Millennium Bridge showing all the signs of turning into one of London's great designer sagas, Astragal has a modest proposals to make, especially since completion of remedial work is unlikely to be resolved much before 2002. It is this: rename the structure the Jubilee Bridge, get the Queen to reopen it, and paint it gold. This could be an improvement on the suggestion by Foster that the Arup-designed dampers could be painted red. . .
