The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors has launched its building of the year award for 2001 and is looking for entries in three categories: building conservation; urban, rural or coastal regeneration; and building efficiency. Last year the main award went to Ty Mawr, a restored fifteenth century house in Wales.The deadline for entries is 27 April. Call 020 7593 3333 for more details.
