Richard Murphy's office asked me to have a look at its website. There's a nice story about Murphy visiting a site in, the lord preserve us all, a microlite piloted by the client and a bit too much of 'we are delighted to announce' - which smacks of a Hampshire vicar at the church bazaar. People have provided a 'lot of positive feedback' but the website is unnecessarily packed. A graphic designer would have been more relaxed about white space (or some space of whatever colour) and wouldn't have convinced themselves that it is possible to read dark blue on a black background. I went temporarily cross-eyed in the attempt.
