Richard Griffiths Architects

Richard Griffiths Architects has received planning permission from the London Borough of Hackney to build a community building adjacent to St Leonard's Church in Shoreditch. The new £730,000 building will provide a nursery on the ground floor, with accommodation for former alcoholics on the upper floors. It will occupy the site of a disused underground public WC. The practice is also refurbishing the church, built by George Dance the Elder in the 1730s. The project is due for completion by the end of this year.
