Richard Griffiths Architects has received planning permission from the London Borough of Hackney to build a community building adjacent to St Leonard's Church in Shoreditch. The new £730,000 building will provide a nursery on the ground floor, with accommodation for former alcoholics on the upper floors. It will occupy the site of a disused underground public WC.
