Ribble Triple

Engineer Flint & Neill Partnership and Wilkinson Eyre Architects has won this £600,000 three-way bridge over the rivers Ribble and Calder in Lancashire. The 'Ribble Triple' scheme, for Lancashire Council, may be lifted into place in one piece by Chinook helicopter.Each leg is 45m long. Flint & Neill with Danish architect Dissing+Weitling has also won what will be the world's longest cable stayed bridge , the 1,018m long 'Stonecutters Bridge' for Hong Kong.
