MPs are a short-sighted lot when it comes to architecture, according to a new survey from the RIBA. A quarter of MPs surveyed named the Houses of Parliament as their favourite UK building, ahead of Michael Hopkins' Stirling-shortlisted Portcullis House, supported by 10 per cent. The Dome was the least favourite, while Lord Foster emerged as MPs' favourite architect (30 per cent), ahead of Lord Rogers (22 per cent).
