The RIBA this week installed solar panels at its Portland Place headquarters to power a new exhibition of sustainable urban living, 'London Living City'. The panels will power exhibits such as a video installation charting the development of the city from Roman times and video interviews with Mayoral candidates on their views on sustainability. The exhibition is based on the idea that without sustainable cities there can be no sustainable planet and explores ways to improve the ways cities work. The exhibition runs from 14 April to 9 July.
