The RIBA is holding a one-day conference, 'Designing out crime:
architects can help', on 21 November. It will cover an introduction to the theory and practice of designing out crime, the Crime and Disorder Act and other relevant legislation, an introduction to environmental criminology and workshops. Architects who complete the course will become 'secured by design accordant'.
