The crew of Chapman Taylor's boat Perseverance (above) won the award for the highest placed architect at last weekend's regatta for the construction industry at Cowes. Owned by partner John Oldridge, the Perseverance beat 41 other practices in the Little Britain Challenge Cup. Third placed practice was BDP, with Nicholas Grimshaw and Partners coming fourth, Foster and Partners, eighth, HOK 25th, and Fitzroy Robinson in 36th place.

Of 211 yachts overall, structural engineer Price & Myers came home first in 'Mithril'.
