Allen Tod Architecture has completed the transformation of a Grade II-listed church into a contemporary art gallery in Scunthorpe. The £1.6 million project merged old and new with a glazed link between a modern single-storey extension and the nineteenth century St John's Church. The 20-20 One Visual Arts Centre provides flexible exhibition, education and multimedia spaces which North Lincolnshire Council hopes will serve as a new regional focus for the arts.
