Birmingham's Brindleyplace has been honoured by the British Urban Regeneration Association as a best practice project. The scheme includes buildings by architects including Allies and Morrison and Porphyrios Associates. Other projects which won awards include the regeneration of Manchester city centre, the Maharishi European Sidhaland healing centre in Skelmersdale, the Neptune Health Centre in Tipton, Felaw Maltings in Ipswich and the Snowberry Road housing initiative in Liverpool.
