Form Design Architecture has been awarded planning consent for a mixed- use scheme for London's Cambridge Circus, despite objections from English Heritage and local conservationists the Soho Society. The £7.5 million design occupies an area historically part of London's red-light district. It includes a 40-bedroom boutique hotel, seven apartments and a 250- cover restaurant. Completion is expected in 2002.
