Recycling becomes a noble cause

  • Comment

A commitment to sustainability won Interface the flooring contract at DEFRA's new headquarters, Nobel House. The chosen Chenille Warp uses a minimum of 87 per cent recycled yarn, while the firm's ReEntry scheme sends uplifted carpet tiles for refurbishment by Pennine Magpie. Colours tie in with DEFRA branding, punctuated with circles of Palette 2000 in Thistle and Oxide and Heuga Emoyeni in Lime Green, which indicate corridors and help guide the visually impaired.
