Promotion of practices is not foundation's way

In response to the AJ article regarding Pimlico School (30.11.00), the Architecture Foundation did not recommend any architectural practices for the competition. We believe that the chair of the board of governors at Pimlico School contacted the RIBA Competitions Office for information on the School Works competition shortlist.

The foundation's policy remains to promote architecture and urban design through open competitions resulting in exhibitions, debates and practical case studies. Our role does not involve the promotion of individual practices.
