A bright, new classroom has been created at Landscore County Primary School in Crediton, Devon, by covering a redundant external courtyard with a 5 x 8m hipended skylight. Designed and manufactured by Hartington Conway, the skylight was installed by its own fixing team in conjunction with main contractor Hodges Bridle & Co.

A combination of handsome steel doors giving acoustic and general protection was designed and supplied by Manchesterbased AccentHansen, part of the £100 million AngloScandinavian HansenGroup, for the Nen Leisure Complex at The Rotunda in Kingston, Surrey. The £59,000-plus contract for SoundShield and MultiShield doors was awarded to AccentHansen this summer.

Leeds Station is an interesting public project where Kalwall is an important element of the refurbishment (architect Halcrow, contractor Wates).

SBT Architects has completed this striking new office development at Chineham Court in Basingstoke. Reynaers CW50 curtain walling with 'natural' glazing was used throughout. This combination of minimal aluminium profiles and state-of-the-art glass met the architect's desire to achieve the maximum lightness of effect currently possible.
Reynaers CW50 is a thermally improved curtain wall facade and roof system, which offers excellent levels of weather performance.
