Daniel Goldberg, an architect with Foster & Partners, is part of a winning team for the John Barett prize, an international design competition for young engineers. The 65m span, a modular carbon-fibre footbridge near the world's first iron bridge in the Coalbrookdale Valley, was designed with Jamie Hillier and Daryosh Gulparvar, engineers with Buro Happold.
