Polystyrene prefab study - help required

Letters

I am in my final year studying architectural technology at Napier University, Edinburgh. For my dissertation I have decided to analyse and compare polystyrene house kits with traditional cavity wall construction. The polystyrene blocks are hollow and after erection are filled in with concrete. This is believed to be a cheaper and quicker form of construction with better acoustic and thermal insulation properties.

My background study will include: U-value thermal differences, acoustic insulation, reverberation qualities, interstitial condensation risk assessment, structural stability comparisons, and sustainable development advantages. I would be most grateful to hear from aj readers with relevant experience.
