Splendid hospitality marked the launch of the Nexus Club at No 1 Cornhill in the heart of the City of London.
Developer Nexus Estates, headed by Bartlett graduate Vincent Wang (ex-Stanhope), has devised the latest in plug-in serviced office schemes, staffed by ex-hotel executives, complete with club room, gym, 400 workstations, magnificent (hireable) domed boardroom etc etc. Amidst the property crowd I spotted Oliver Richards of ORMS which did the fit-out, facilities whiz Andrew Chadwick, CABE commissioner Ian Ritchie, and the prince of Wales Foundation's David Porter.
Happily I saw no other journalists.
