Please rethink aj 100 regional ranking

In your survey aj100 (aj 26.3.98), on page 62 you list the numbers of qualified architects by region, assuming that multi-locational firms are counted only once. You really need to rethink this one. bdp has no head office as such and is strongly regionally rooted. We should be rated as follows (May 1997 figures): North East, 16, therefore ranked 6; North West, 32, therefore ranked 4; Scotland 45, therefore ranked 1; Northern Ireland 8, therefore ranked =2.

The survey gave an incorrect figure for the fee income of W S Atkins Architects. The correct figure is £12 million.
