Congratulations to veteran Lincoln architect Sam Scorer, who has opened a contemporary art and architecture gallery in the shadow of the cathedral. An appreciative group attended the formal opening last Saturday, and to the sounds of cool (live) jazz guitar, viewed not only paintings but also contributions from Ted Cullinan, Michael Hopkins, Eva Jiricna, Sandy Wilson, Long & Kentish and abk. A cross letter in the local paper condemns the use of metal (shock horror) in the gallery design, so Sam must be doing something right.
