Pinnacle development

  • Comment

The £26 million Pinnacle development on Bothwell Street in Glasgow will provide 130 luxury apartments in the heart of the city. The refurbished 1960s office block towers above the skyline and can be seen from every approach into the city. Full-height glass walls adorn the east and west gables, and each flat has been kitted out with modern appliances, including surround-sound music systems.

Internally, door manufacturer Jeld-Wen has almost completed the contract to supply 12 different, contemporary-style John Carr Ready-Fit doorsets throughout, including flush beech veneer doors to all apartments.

Each doorset was supplied with polished stainless steel hinges and a special 18mm-thick, 69mm-wide MDF facing, with round pre-mitred, double edges, all to the British Woodworking Federation's BWF-CERTIFIRE scheme.
