Pimlico loses patience

  • Comment

Pimlico School's governing body passed a resolution this week to seek alternative solutions to its accommodation problems rather than wait until Government and Westminster City Council sorts out its unpopular Ellis Williams-designed PFI proposals for a replacement school. The body said any further consideration of the current PFI rebuilding proposals was 'futile' after four and a half years of problems with the scheme and the last year of a lack of progress. It has urged Westminster City Council and the Department for Education and Employment to become 'partners' in the process and will explore other funding options.
