The conversion of a former 1960s British Telecom exchange building into a library in east London has used Pilkington K Glass for an all-glass facade. The facade incorporates a stunning 20m laminated screen, showing photographic images of trees. Designer FaulkerBrowns wanted to create an open, appealing space with playful imagery to reflect the environment. Pilkington K Glass was chosen for its insulation and UV values.
