Pierre d'Avoine Architects has been shortlisted in an international competition to design a new 'Literaturmuseum der Moderne' near Stuttgart. The 1,400m 2building, to cost about DM9 million (£2.8 million), will form part of a new arts complex overlooking the River Neckar. The practice, which is collaborating with AJ columnist Clare Melhuish and Berlin-based firm Hoidn Wang Arge, is competing against 20 rival, anonymous bids.
